Disco floor

1. Add 4 Redstone repeaters all facing one direction.

2. Next to the redstone repeaters, add observers with the face facing the redstone repeaters.

3. Add the rest of your redstone repeaters, 4 of them behind each observer facing away from the observers.

4. On top of the redstone repeaters, add the rest of your observers with the red dot facing upwards.

5. And on top of the observers place your redstone lamps.

6. Place your redstone comparator so that it is facing the same direction as the redstone repeaters that you placed in the beginning.

7. Behind the redstone comparator, Place 6 hoppers going in a loop.

8. Place any item inside the hoppers, this will get detected by the redstone comparator and the redstone comparator will send a signal to the redstone repeaters and since the redstone repeaters each have a bit of delay it will send the signal to each line of the other redstone repeaters a bit later than the other which then gets picked up by the observers and the observers power up the lamp giving it a cool wave style.
